Adobe Photoshop Elements is a program that brings together simplicity and efficiency and allows to build exceptional images from simple photographs, to tell their extraordinary stories in personalized creations for print and for the web, as well as to identify and display all photos with great ease. Adobe Photoshop Elements is a software by Adobe Systems, recently reaching version 6.0 for Windows and Mac, and enables non-experts to use a selection of advanced tools for image manipulation and management of archives of images, that for their complexity and price, are usually dealt with by experienced users such as editing professionals in large companies.
The graphical interface is very similar to the interface shown by his elder brother, characterized by the tools tab, usually placed on the left but with the possibility to be moved to any point on the screen, and the levels tab, history tab (for a faster navigation in the history of the program, in practice to cancel transactions and, if necessary, repeat them) and the navigator. The limitations of Photoshop Elements relate just to professional characteristics and therefore should not be of any problem to the home users, for which this software has been built. For professional users Photoshop is a point of reference for the sector and should be preferred. One limitation of the Elements version is the lack of support for the CMYK color model and Color Lab, leaving the only options to Grayscale and RGB Color. Additionally Elements does not support 16-bit colors / channel and is limited to 8 bits / channel. Adobe Photoshop Elements combines power and simplicity, improves the output of the photos even for non-expert users and provides all sorts of help with elaboration.
